Welcome to South Boulder
South Boulder aka SoBo, has a quiet, relaxed, almost suburban feel to it, which is perfect for families and those looking for a place to live that is less hectic than areas closer to the downtown core. Fortunately, SoBo real estate is still within easy access of Downtown Boulder’s Pearl Street and the Denver-Boulder Turnpike. A network of bike paths is easily accessible from all areas of SoBo.
There are 3 major neighborhoods of the area that create South Boulder.
Martin Acres:
As one of Boulder’s most established neighborhoods, Martin Acres real estate attracts a wide range of home seekers and investors. Its close proximity to the University of Colorado means that students add to the mix of families and professionals to create a vibrant, friendly community.
Table Mesa:
Real estate in Table Mesa tends to be a bit more affordable than it is in some of Boulder’s northern neighbors. A large number of Table Mesa homes are older, ranch-style properties, many of which have been updated in recent years. There is a great selection of condos available in the Shannon Ridge area.
Devil’s Thumb:
Devil’s Thumb homes offer an ideal place to easily escape from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Located to the southwest of the city, nestled in the striking foothills of the Boulder Mountain Parks. This small community of around 600 residents is comprised mainly of spacious family homes located on quiet streets, with nearby trails and green spaces, including Harlow Platts Park.
