Chautauqua/Rosehill is a gorgeous area grounded by the greenery and craggy rocks the natural setting has to offer. The area is located near University Hill and overlooks Downtown Boulder.

Chautauqua/Rosehill is one of Boulder’s oldest neighborhoods, and most of the houses graciously boast large lots with mature trees. Living in Chautauqua/Rosehill means a peaceful escape as well as an easy commute to Downtown Boulder.

Chautauqua Park is a beloved open space with everything from playgrounds to tennis courts, and the vast array of hiking trails in the area are brimming with wildflowers in the warmer months. Flagstaff Mountain is a particularly great place to get some fresh air.

The beloved venue also offers concessions during music festival concerts and hosts special teas.

 

Looking for a night with the arts? Concerts are played in Chautauqua Auditorium, which is a charming barn-like hall that was built in the late 1800s. The town is also in close proximity to the University of Colorado Boulder, which has even more shows, conferences, and theatre performances in Mackey Auditorium Concert Hall and the University of Colorado Art Museum.
